Product Description
This is the outer half of a main gear wheel designed for use on a F-20 Tigershark 1/10th scale RC model. The same wheel is used on the F-5 Freedom FIghter and other jets and warbirds. The model was created using catalog drawings of the real wheel along with photos taken while examining a jet at a local museum, so while not perfect, it is fairly accurate.
This wheel half interfaces with an available inner wheel half. Both halves must be purchased to make a complete wheel. They are fastened together with 1- 72 screws and nuts (https://www.mcmaster.com/92196A071 & https://www.mcmaster.com/92736A002). This makes it easier to install hard rubber tires.
The outside diameter is 1.625" (1-5/8'), center hole diameter is .21875" (7/32). Made from nylon it weighs 6 gm.
