Product Description
This is an updated body shell for the 16xx pannier (late batch, numbers 1650-69) that will fit a modified Bachmann 64xx chassis, shown here numbered, and detailed with ModelWright lamps and a bucket (W501), not included (the photo actually shows one of the early batch, however, they are identical apart from the placement of the spare lamp irons). The 64xx chassis has the correct wheelbase but the wheels are slightly oversize although this isn't that noticeable in normal viewing, it also retains the ability to be DCC chipped. The changes needed are detailed here: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/116910-16xx-and-simplex-by-modelwright/?p=2603000
To complete the loco you will need a Bachmann 64xx (or just the chassis and all the extra details like vacuum pipes, handrails and smokebox dart), some wire for extra handrails, paint, and transfers/plates for numbering to your specific loco. The early batch is available under the product code W104.
