This item is the case for a Mobius camera to transform it into a scope camera for shooting purposes. I designed this primarily for airsoft users who like to record their tags against other players. This supports both on board power and external power. I have designed it so the user can try to seal it against rain but I do not provide any sort of guarantee.
There are several things you need to know before purchase.
This setup is unfortunately not cheap to build due to the nature of the lens that must be purchased, however it does give you the ability to record exactly what you see down optics because it uses a special lens to send some of the light to the camera, but be aware this does make the image you see darker.
Important - read me, and watch the videos!
This camera was designed and tested on a Leapers Bugshot 4x40 which has a 3 inch eye relief, other brands of scope used should have a similar eye relief to this.
This will only fit onto scopes that are at most 40mm wide (round) on the end you look through, any bigger and it will not fit! Also if there are any parts that stick up at the back, such as cross hair illumination controls, they must be positioned dead centre at the top of the scope and be no more than 30mm wide.
I have videos explaining How to find out if this will fit on your scope and how to firstly prepare the case and then assemble your camera.
The camera may not be perfect, and does require user assembly. I made this for my own use and a few friends, I cannot be held responsible if it does not function properly or if you damage anything or void any warranties, you undertake this solely at your own risk.
Continue down for the parts list, and videos on how to assemble the camera + some of it in use.
