Product Description
"Fortuna's Ring" is a three-dimensional curved ring. It consists of two rings like a Möbius loop. It rolls smoothly on the desktop because the distance from the center of gravity remains constant and so the object. The inspiration comes from Lucas Cranach's Melancholi. Three children attempt to play a game, the object of which is to pass a large ball through a hoop. A winged woman, lost in thought, splits a stick, seemingly in the process of making another hoop. I believe the woman must be a Fortuna. Fortuna was the goddess of fortune and personification of luck in Roman religion. The ball is a simbol of fortune. fortune is always rolling like a ball. This Fortuna's Ring keeps you good luck.
