to create a complete right mount option that can be used to attach an endless variety of accessories onto the Phantom 4 drone. After inserting the recommended spring into the Right Main Brace this Spring Brace will compress the spring down, lock inside, and provide the outward pressure like a shower curtain rod to hold the mount in between the legs of the Phantom 4 landing gear.
The assembled mount can be used alone, but it's recommended and intended use is to complement the left mount as together they provide a means to create a balanced payload carrying system.
It was originally designed to allow the attachment of lightweight aviation / anti-collision lights to the Phantom 4 drone and has undergone numerous iterations through real world testing in order to provide one of the best mount solutions available. Each mount will literally hold more that the drone can carry without coming off or breaking. You could anchor the drone down with a single mount.
As a bonus, by utilizing the now ubiquitous attachment system made famous by GoPro the design provides an endless variation of uses. Once in place, opposite the left, this mount can be secured and hold several types of accessories including the ARC II and Strobon enclosures by VASTmicro or a mariad of small action cameras. Though new to Shapeways this one of a kind original 3D model has been printed on multiple FDM 3D printers and used in the real world many times. It's been tested and found to work well.
