Product Description
All right, so if the 60mm Diameter Physiological Bath is too compact for you, here's the Cadillac of Physiological Chambers...
the size of a standard 90mm Petri Dish, you get full confort and work space when you mount perfusions, electrodes, xyz, and other instruments you might need for your particular lab experiments. It allows you to do cell cultulture, manipulations, training, stimulation, etc, from the hood to the microscope in one step. You can cover it with a standard 90mm petri dish lid and stack it or with a 35mm petri lid when you have it all plugged on perfusions. You have integrated capillary channels for solution exchange, a big channel around the Bath for teperature control and M6 threaded mounting holes to attach electrodes, thermometer, other perfusions or special instruments.
Other than Biological and physiological experiments, you can use this Bath for chemical engineering, to mix solutions in controled conditions and directly under the microscope. You can perhaps bombard your solutions with laser, radiations, ultra/infra-sound, etc, and create new substances to revolutionize or destroy the world... :) This simple piece of acrylic replaces more than 3 000$ worth of equipement and is currently being used in high tec experiments on muscular cells in Montreal. One special version of this product will actually go on the Int. Space Station! I can't think of all the applications, you probably know better, I just designed this product with high modularity and standard compliance in mind.
To make a bottom to the Bath, you simply stick a 20mm glass slide with vacuum grease and if you think that won't be enough for your mad scientist extreme experiment make sure to purchase the Bottom Glass Slide Ring Holder for 90mm Bath too! Just to make sure. :)
