The Double Tenor pan is also called the double lead. It reinforces the melody and/or harmonizes the melody, or may "strum" chords beneath the melody. It has a brassy tone and can expand the melodic range of the tenor pan if necessary. It is a pair of pans played by one person.
This large (2 x 34mm) “damntingself” design pendant is most representative of the actual instrument and features the full concave face and accurate note placement on each pan. It can complemented by earrings representing the individual left and right pans in the “damntingself” or “surface” designs.
