Product Description

1:300th scale Tatra T-148 truck; set of 4 with tarpaulins erected (the prototype for this particular variant was used by a cable-laying section in the Czechoslovakian army). The T-148 was a development of the T-138 of 1962, fitted with a more powerful engine and inter-axle differential; externally the differences were very few; mostly at the front end. Over a hundred thousand were produced from 1972 to 1982, and found service in over 40 countries. The photographs show a set done in the cheapest (default) WSF plastic. The default WSF plastic is good enough for most wargaming purposes; however, the WSF Polished plastic looks better, and is not much more expensive, so I'd normally recommend that. Unfortunately, Shapeways will often reject orders done in "Polished", because some of the details will be polished away, but these tend to be details not visible in the first place if you are using the cheapest WSF plastic...
