3788 Scale Romulan FireHawk-K+ Heavy Cruiser MGL

The heavy cruiser of the Hawk-series, this ship is very similar to the SparrowHawk light cruiser, but has more center hull volume and a fourth engine. It carries two type-S plasma torpedoes, two type-F plasma torpedoes, and phasers. Because of the modular design, an unfinished hull could be finished as a cruiser, command ship, carrier, gunboat tender, commando ship, or any of many other variants. Few FireHawks were converted to other variants after construction as the modules had to be hard-welded into place. The FireHawk-K+ was produced during the late war period in the shipyards of a different Great House than the original, accounting for the visual difference. The ship can, of course, cloak.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
