Ovation OCP-1K End Pin (Short)

This is a replacement for the Ovation guitars OCP-1K wide pick-up end pin.

Ovation had two styles for these pins: long and short.

The long pin version is designed to be removed from the pick-up. The ends of the pins protrude through holes in the bridge and sound board.

The short pin version is designed to be permanently attached to the pick-up using black RTV. (silicone)

Ovation adopted the short pin version to simplify the removal of the saddle while adding/removing shims and to prevent the long pin version from getting falling out and getting lost.

Other then the length of the pin and material used to print, these parts are identical.

I'm offering these in three different materials. All three will perform equally. The only difference is cost, color and surface texture.

The White Versitle is the most economic, but will require finishing to achieve the final color.
The PA12 Grey is slightly more expensive, but has a smoother surface than the White Versitle, but still requires finishing.
The PA12 Black is the most expensive, but comes with a smoother surface like the Grey PA12, but is finished in black.
