Product Description
The Sterling L-2A3 is an open-bolt 9x19mm Parabellum British submachinegun, constructed entirely of steel and plastic. It has a shoulder stock, which folds underneath the weapon. It was tested with the British Army in 1944–1945 as a replacement for the Sten but it did not start to replace it until 1953. A successful and reliable design, it remained as standard issue with the British Army until 1994, when it was phased out as the L-85A1 assault rifle was phased in. The L-2A3 version (Sterling Mk 4) adopted in 1956 by the British Army, the Royal Marines and the RAF Regiment.
This kit contains all necessary parts for assembling THREE submachinegun miniatures with the shoulder stocks EXTENDED and bolts OPENED as ready-to-fire at 1/12 scale, to be used with same 150mm scale figures. The miniatures are also available as x1, as x3 and x5 multipacks. Any extra diorama accessories are not included and should be purchased separately.
