Product Description
Pilot house and screw type propeller for the USS Monitor. This to replace the folded photo etch pilot house and the resin propeller that comes with the Flagship Models kit. This propeller is much more accurate. You will have to open up the propeller blade clearance in the hull of the model as on the real vessel. I did this by using the plate on the top of the hull as reference and extruding down (the model indicates the propeller clearance area but doesn't provide for the acutal clearance below as the diameter of the propeller is too small ). I'll cover that with a piece of styrene when I'm finished and will post pictures up.
