The muntjac (also known as the barking deer) is a species of deer native to southern Asia, and is identifiable by its short, straight antlers, and large tusk-like canine teeth. This ring was created by meticulously 3D photo-scanning a real-life skull specimen in high resolution to retain all of the unique shape and detail. The band was designed using the same matching horns. Makes a great gift for dragon lovers!
About the material finishes:
◼️ Polished STEEL has a rough, aged appearance (even after polishing). It is 3D printed using a binder jetting process and is later infused with bronze, creating a material that is 60% steel and 40% bronze and can range in color from a silver gray to reddish bronze.
◼️ Nickel-plated STEEL has a more shiny, smooth appearance, but is still rougher than cast metals like silver. Just make sure you don't have any nickel allergies.
◼️ BRASS, BRONZE, GOLD, and SILVER are first 3D printed in a high detail cast-able wax, and then cast using a traditional lost wax process. Because of this, these metals are smoother and more detailed than the STEEL.
