Product Description
This slide in type skid sander is commonly stored for the summer then slid into the back of a dump truck body for sanding during ice or snow conditions. You can find these used by City, County, Department of Transportation ( DOT ). This particular one is larger than my oriignal design, (which I still offer 12' long etc) and is 14' long (the body without the sanding unit!), about 5 feet high and 8 feet wide at the top. IT can also be used directly on the frame of a truck if one desires with minimum modification. Also, the conveyor bed is open, meaning it has the basic roller shapes, so you can add the 'belt' you see fit, such as electrical tape, strip of fine grit sandpaper works well or vinyl etc. Should there be any questions or issues, contact me via the designer link or direct via email to modelmechanic@gmail.com
