Product Description
Depressed Deck Flat Car GSC cast frame. This car is 58 feet long and is designed to fit Athearn Buckeye 6 wheel trucks. There are adapters to pivot the truck from the center and not from the offset hole. The Athearn Buckeyes have ends on the sideframes there were not used on this car. The ends of the sideframes need to be trimmed away to fit. GSC also had their own 6 wheel truck, There are HO GSC trucks out there, none are in currently available as a replacement part. The lower center deck (bottomside) has been elliminated to make a 1 x 2.943 x .095 weight pocket. Six 2-56 screws are required. Two need to be flatheads for the truck pivot.
I have not built this to test the fit .
