Product Description
The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

The Cuirassier Frigate is the hellbore-armed version of the frigate hull, matching the fusion-armed Hunter and the mixed-weapons Crusader. The long-range hellbore gave the frigate squadron commander a means to "reach out and hurt someone" at long range. It has no fighters.

The Hydran Hunter was the frigate of the fusion-armed series. Like all frigates, it was built before and during the earlier part of the General War as a small ship for small jobs, such as screening the flank, protecting rear areas, escorting convoys, and so forth. This ship was too small to carry fighters as well as heavy weapons, but a carrier version (the Scythian with six fighters) was externally similar. This sprue includes two Hydran Hunter Frigates. This sprue of ships includes one Hydran Cuirassier Frigate and one

The sprue of ships is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
