I created the original in wax then it was scanned & 3D printed. Sounds simple but it has'nt been particuarly easy at all. Its a long process to create the sculpture by hand but once it was made I carefully took it to a company who scanned it & went on to create a 3D model for me. This was the 1st time I have tried this technology & have always looked at ways of reducing the size to make it more saleable. Leaving it with them to do the job was really hard because if they had dropped it then its all over & start again. It was wax after all & the weather was on the warm side too. Still, its finally done & just could'nt believe my eyes when I saw the 3D model of it.
