I carry one of these replacement gear levers for my BMW F800GT (2013 - ?) on my bike at all times in case of a low-side skid, which is likely to snap the toe peg right off of the stock aluminum gear lever. This fits with the stock gear lever hardware, and can be improved by slipping a little piece of rubber tube over the toe peg for a softer feel. It doesn't make it any easier to find Neutral...
