Product Description
009 Freelance Sentinel Kit Designed to fit the KATO 11-103 Chassis.
This is the third print for a simple eight part kit which has been split into four files to enable components to be printed in the most suitable material. Sadly unlike my other versions of this component, the fine grill detail means that it needs to be printed in one of the detail plastics. As a result of this I thought I might as well add handrails. I have tried to keep the cost down by removing unecessary material from inside the body which I hope to do for the other versions when time allows.
This print contains the following:
Part 4B (Main Body), This is the fourth variant I produced with two window on each side behind the door and vents and is loosely based on one exported to Iraq.
Note alternative body styles are available, see Part 4, Part 4B etc. Due to the fine detail it can only be printed in Smooth Fine Detail Plastic. However I have managed to keep the cost down by removing some unnecessary material from the 3D model which I hope to roll out over all variants
To complete the body you will need to purchase the remaining three prints from Shapeways:
Parts 1, 5, 6 & 8
Parts 2 & 3 (Cab Details);
Part 7 (Roof).
You will also need to purchase a KATO 11-103 Chassis from another supplier.
This part clips onto Part 5 (Under frame detail) trapping the floor assembly (parts 1, 2 & 3) inside. The Water tank & filler (part 6) fits in the coal bunker with the filler furthest away from the cab.
