Because of Shapeways' thermal process, stainless steel will experience a 2 to 3 % shrinkage on the design's measures meaning that a stainless steel ring size 9.5 (∅ 1.95 cm) will approximately fit as a size 9 (∅ 1.9 cm).
WIth that in mind, I suggest you to order 1/2 size up for your stainless steel ring.
