HO 1/87 NASA Shuttle SRB flatcar covers (set

I'm afraid Shapeways have recently increased their prices on WSF models. These are the Clamshell covers that are used to protect the NASA space shuttle SRB sections when they are transported on flatcars. Each train has five cars and each car uses a pair of these covers. See my other models for the brackets, SRB sections and their supporting frames and cradles. Walthers make a model which is virtually the same as the 66' four-truck, heavy duty flatcar used to transport the shuttle. A deck made from 0.040" plasticard will need to be added to raise the covers to the correct height. My thanks to Morgan Paul for the photos of his finished models. Please note, the parts will need some preparation before painting.
