Product Description
Cab Type A

4 mm scale

Designed to print in White Natural Versatile Plastic or Smooth Fine Detail Plastic
Adapted to suit the new Kato 11-110 chassis.

Part of 009 Atkinson Walker Railcar - further parts required, see above for details

This unit is based on the Atkinson Walker articulated railcars developed and used on the Clogher Valley and later used by the County Donegal Railway in Ireland. It is one of the first of its kind to be in use on both railways in the 1930s.

I have adapted this model to suit 009 gauge and to run on a modified Kato 11-104 and 11-110 chassis. Designed to be printed in White Processed Versatile Plastic, it is also available in Smooth Fine Detail Plastic. The roof and work lamp are printed with the cab body to be separated in the building process. There are possibilities for personal adaptation of the model both inside and outside.

This print is for the cab only. To complete the model as shown you will also need to purchase the coach body, which is available separately. If you would like to see how I went about building similar railcars, please visit the Model Engine Works Blog, at
