Product Description

I present the frosted detail plastic parts formy Disk pendant
This model has been designed for printing in frosted extreme detail.

 

Care must be taken when cutting the parts away from te sprue, so as to ensure they don't crack or split.

 

The yellow colour, seen in some of the photos, comes from an oily solvent that is used to remove the unhardened printing material inside the model. Some of it remains in the model due to it's fine internal details. This oil will need to be removed from the parts with kitchen towel, or similar.

 

This is one of two printed parts needed to complete the assembly. The other metal part can be found here: Disk Pendant: Tritium, Part 1 of 2 (it is not included with this model)

 

These frosted plastic parts should be set into place, on the main disk, using a UV activated optically clear adhesive such as Norland 61 or Loctite glass bond. These adhesives will cure in direct sunlight in an hour or so.
