From the ancient system of rune symbols, three poems were created as mnemonic aids for remembering the names, kennings (associations), meanings and properties of each rune which are concealed within the associated poetic passages.

The Olde Anglo-Saxon Poem is the best preserved of the surviving ancient Poems. Written on parchment in the late eighth or early ninth century C.E. by Christian monks in a thoughtful attempt to preserve the Northern oral tradition of the runic mantra. This version includes an interpretation of the entire "Elder Futhark" within the body and is quite descriptive, providing valuable insight into Runic lore...

The "Triquetra" is an ancient Celtic symbol, dating back to as early as 500 BC which symbolizes "the Triune Goddess" pertaining to three-phase moon worship and is believed to have been used as a rune of protection.
