This set includes the doors for the Prince Edward Island Railway/ CNR 1904 Standard Booking Station.
These stations were built at eight locations on the Murray Harbour branch in 1905: Hazelbrook, Vernon, Vernon River, Grandview, Melville, Wood Islands, Murray River, and Murray Harbour. A station was built at Montague Bridge in 1906, and a slightly modified station was built at Elmira, the easternmost point on the PEIR, in 1911.
The last of its type built, Elmira had a different style of door. This will be released in a set of its own.
Full details on these PEIR structures can be found in my article in the July 2011 Model Railroader Magazine.
These parts can also be used to build a number of Intercolonial Railway of Canada/ CNR stations.
