Sopwith Camel

3D printed in heather gray nylon plastic with a matte finish and slight grainy feel.
Product Description
The Sopwith F.1 Camel was -- by many standards -- the most successful fighter of World War One.  Its speed in turning was matched only by its tendency to go out of control in inexperienced hands, and it was only with experience that pilots learned to use its strengths to great advantage.  The first units made their way to France in summer of 1917, and by the end of the war nearly 1,300 enemy aircraft were shot down by Camels -- more than any other aircraft type.

This product comes in 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales.  Choose the 1:285/6mm comes with two aeroplanes.   Small-scale models have detachable, translucent propeller disks rather than propeller blades.  They are joined by disposable links to keep the price down, since single-part models are more affordable.  You can break the links with nail clippers, wire cutters, or similar.

It is also experimentally offered at 1:87 (HO) scale, but the designer makes no guarantees at that scale because no test prints have been done.
