Omni Scale Andromedan Satellite Base SRZ

Andromedans are an aggressive empire from the M31 Andromedan Galaxy. Their technology is different from that of ships in our galaxy. They use tractor-repulsor beams to rip enemy ships apart, displacement devices to teleport their own ships or enemy ones, and weapons that are similar to a phaser-2. They do not use shields, but instead use power absorbers which capture the energy of enemy weapons and cycle it back into their own systems and weapons. Larger Andromedan ships (motherships) carry small frigate/destroyer sized ships internally and launch them as needed in combat.

The Andromedans left a network of small bases throughout the galaxy. It was theorized (and later confirmed) that these were involved in their high-speed strategic movement system. The small bases provided fuel and a navigational beacon. The location and destruction of these bases became a key element in defeating the Andromedans. The satellite base is carried by a larger unit as a satellite ship. The satellite base requires several days to lock-in its positional stabilizers; if the satellite base is deployed (or moved by a displacement device) during a scenario, it cannot operate its weapons or special sensors. If the stabilizers are active, the satellite base cannot be towed, displaced, transported, put in stasis, etc.

The base is available in a variety of materials. Bases are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
