A bottle car is a type of railroad car used in steel mills to transport molten pig iron from the blast furnace to the basic oxygen furnace. This model has a removable roof and removable bottom the allow for wiring/weight to be added. The bottle has a hole between it and the turner allowing wires to be strewn through.
