The Apple Pencil's great, but it's all too easy to scratch that glossy white plastic or damage that teensey tip. And as of today, they aren't selling replacement tips yet. Or replacement lightning port covers, for that matter. 

 

And did we mention that the pencil's a little too thin for our liking? [THERE'S A REASON WHY WOODEN PENCILS ARE HEXAGONAL] And, good lord, it lacks a CLIP!

 

The Apple Pencil Case solves all of that, and more. Take the original cap off and keep it safe, place your Apple Pencil in its Case, give it a light twist to align the lightning port to the Case's built-in protector, and you're good to go. The included cap lets you chuck it in your pencilcase along with everything else.

Over 20 redesigns were made, and we 3D-printed 10 iterations on our own printer to make sure it felt just right. Engineering samples were user-tested to improve the grip to what it is today [hint: Grip the raised grooves if you have huge paws, otherwise the gaps between them will suit you perfectly.] Leaving no stone untouched, we took off enough material from the rear of the Case so that the Cap can pop right on!
