The Curvy Copter Skewb is a hybrid puzzle of both the Curvy Copter and the Skewb (as you might have been able to guess from the name). As well as being able to scramble like any regular doctrinaire hybrid puzzle, the geometry of the puzzle allows for very interesting jumbling. For example, once you've turned a Curvy Copter edge by the jumbling angle (about 70.53 degrees), you can then turn around a Skewb corner. Alternatively, you can do a Skewb turn, and half way through that turn you can proceed to do Curvy Copter turns. By combining both Skewb and Curvy Copter turns whilst jumbling, the puzzle can result in some very interesting states.
When you purchase the puzzle, you receive a set of the plastic parts. You must also purchase four M3 screw (4-40 screws should also work), about 10mm long or longer. You will also need to purchase a set of stickers, which can be bought from
Oliver's Sticker Shop, or from
Will Kretschmer (Will's stickers are more expensive, but higher quality and will be easier to stick to the puzzle), or you can get in contact with me for the DXF sticker template.
