1/1000 Lowered Warp Engine Struts - style 1

I designed these lowered warp engine struts, with vent on them, based on measurements taken from the Polar Lights 1/1000 scale TOS USS Enterprise kit. Like the ones in the kit, some minor sanding may be necessary to make a flush fit. I tried to do it on the model itself, but couldnt get the part perfect, so I am posting this with 'minor work required.' As a kitbasher, when isnt some sanding and filling required? LOL

Note, 4/20/2020: Due to the printing process from Shapeways for the versatile plastics, I Had to add a lower detail model to be printed at this time, as their finishing process is a form of bead blasting, and would wipe out the detail grills on the struts. After this print is done, i will be removing versatile plastics from the selection, as the smooth  clear detail actually costs less anyway.
