HO Pullman Parlor Car Lamps Set

2019 Update: This product is now available in two sprue sizes, which can be selected from the menu to the right.  The "small" size includes 32 standard 2-way lamps, 8 single-lens lamps, and 4 each of right-hand-facing-lens and left-hand-facing-lens lamps (48 total, as originally offered); the "large" size includes 64 standard 2-way lamps, 16 single-lens lamps, and 8 each of right-hand-facing-lens and left-hand-facing lens lamps (96 total).

These vintage-style HO scale wall lamps are styled after interior Pullman parlor car lamps as currently used by the Valley Railroad of Essex, Connecticut. These lamps are TINY!  We here at K. Kadwell have no way of knowing if these exact lamps were used back when heavyweight Pullman cars were first put into service in the 1920s, but we do know that MANY different interior wall lamp designs were used by Pullman, so it's entirely possible that lamps similar to these would be period-correct for any variety of real-life cars.

Did we mention that these lamps are SMALL?  The double-lens 2-way lamps measure about 8 HO scale inches wide from lamp head to lamp head.  These parts are recommended for modelers with very precise hands and sharp vision.  We suggest painting the lamps while still on their sprues.

This set includes many standard 2-way lamps to install on interior window posts between seats, as well as a number of single-direction lamps with center-, right-hand-, and left-hand-oriented lenses to install as desired in specific locations like interior bulkheads or end walls.
