LNER Sentinel railcar d89
First two production D88 articulated railcars introduced in 1927, after successful trials of lightweight Sentinel railcars.
Followed by modified version D89 in 1928.
Used mostly in north east. Most withdrawn by 1940 but some were not finally withdrawn till 1947
