This is a custom, detailed model of Grand Teton National Park and John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway built at 1:100000 scale for a program for the blind. A compass pointing North appears in relief, surrounded by the words "North" and "1:100000" in Braille. In addition, there is a thin ridge demarcating the boundary between the parkway and the park's Northern border. TinyMtn models have always been tactile - they are maps that you can feel - and this massive map (our largest) covers an exceptionally rugged and varied terrain protected by the US National Park Service.
Model scale is 1:100000
Model covers an area approximately 26.4 by 41.1 miles
Altitudes covered: 6326' to 13765'

TinyMtn Navigator models are strongest and most affordable in the "White Strong and Flexible" material. When you receive the model, there may still be Nylon dust on it from the printing process. Use either an airbrush, canned dust blower, or a soft old toothbrush to remove this dust. Do not get the "White Strong and Flexible" material wet, and don't prime it or use any oil-based paints on it. You can safely seal it with Polycrylic or a similar water-based clear spray sealant. These models have been optimized for the above materials, and are not offered in other materials for strength or cost reasons. If you need one in another material, please email@example.com
