Project 09852 RFS BELGOROD (KC-139) is a Russian Navy nuclear submarine of the Oscar 2 class. She has been highly modfied for bottom reconnissance missions including acting as the mother ship for the LOSHARIK deep diving submarine.
NOTE: model was revised 8/2/19 based on the latest Google Earth Satellite imagery and HI Sutton's "Covert Shores" website. The bow remains covered in imagery ... but Belgorod is rumored to be a launch vessel for the Poseidon nuclear "doomsday" torpedo. I've incorporated loading and launch doors from the Savrov which is the other Poseidon launch vessel.
Model has deep diving Losharik submarine nested in bay.
