3125 Scale Federation LTT with Carrier Pod WEM

To provide a backup for the carriers, the Federation built two kinds of carrier pods. Both used the standard military cargo pod as a base so they are externally identical, and this model shows a tug carrying one pod of either type. The player can designate which is used in his game. The heavy carrier pod carries 24 fighters but is twice as heavy as the light carrier pod, which carries 12 fighters. The LTT is under maneuver limitations and speed restrictions when carrying the heavy pod but not the light pod. Fighters could be F-4s, F-8s, or F-18s.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
