This is the Aeroshuttle that is docked underneath the saucer of the Intrepid Class, much like the captain's yacht on the Galaxy and Sovereign Class. An earlier name for this was also the Aerowing Shuttle. Sadly this ship was never seen in action on the 7 years run of Star Trek: Voyager. Although the production team wanted to use this at some point in the series, the producers decided to introduce the Delta Flyer instead.
