The .338 Norma Magnum is a rifle cartridge that originally designed as a long-range sport shooting wildcat cartridge. Introduced in 2008 and coming into production in next year. developed by the American sport shooter Jimmie Sloan with the help of Dave Kiff.
Later, the design was purchased by the Swedish ammunition manufacturer Norma, and the cartridge was C.I.P. certified on 26 May 2010 and end of wildcat cartridge status officially.
The model's dimensions was reference on C.I.P. TDCC chart, high dimension accuracy.
