Tardigrade Water Bear Moss Piglet

The amazing Tardigrade, Water Bear, or Moss Piglets are ancient, water-dwelling, eight-legged, segmented microscopic animals.  They can be found almost everywhere usually in moss and lichen. They are some of the most resilient and indestructable creatures we know of.  These tough little guys can survive in the most extreme conditions that would kill almost anything, they can withstand huge temperature ranges from close to absolute zero to about 300 °F and extreme pressures greater than those found in the deepest ocean. Not even lethal radiation or outer space effect these tough little critters. Perhaps most impressive, yhey can live without food or water for more than 30 years by drying out to the point where they are 3% or less water then come back to life.
