This sculpture represents a combined xz/yz-scan (split along the z-axis = optical axis) of a confocal microscope recording the forward scattered signal of a focused (NA1.4) x-polarized TEM00 532nm laser beam from single 60nm spherical gold nano particle by a NA03 detection objective, respectively.
