Powered Suit - PUG Chest

This Diaclone Powered Suit upgrade chest was designed to go with the upgrade arms I made.

I realized once I'd made the arms that there wasn't really a good story reason for why anyone would want to put those giant arms on a regular powered suit, so I figured I needed a backstory for why the upgrade arms were so big. At first I figured it could be a (robotic) hand-to-hand training suit for getting rookies used to fighting in the powered suits.

Then I was like, "well they used to call boxers 'pugilists' so PUG* might be a good acronym!" And so I decided this would be the PUG Powered Suit. And even better is that the whole combination of the upgrade arms and the chest piece makes the powered suit look kinda stocky like a pug dog.

So yeah. That's where this all came from. Fun facts!

* Note: The acronym PUG could stand for "Protection Utility Guard" or "Pugilist Utility Guard"
