Product Description
This sprue includes a set of belt pulleys for use in machine shops, stamp mills and other industrial models. The set is for 6" wide belts and includes two of each size of pulley from 6" to 24" by 2" sizes (20 pulleys total). These pulleys are based on a drawing from a turn-of-the-century mine supply catalog.
The sprue is continous so the pulleys are captive and treated as a single unit for printing, but which are separate without trimming once the sprue is cut in half.
The pulleys are designed for a 0.080" axle in 1:32 or a 0.100" axle in 1:24, representing roughly a 2.5" drive shaft/axle.
These pulleys can also be used in 1:48 scale. The 1:32 scale pulley set would then be 9" face width and have sizes from 9" to 36", while the 1:24 scale pulley set would then be 12" face width and have sizes from 12" to 48".
