1/192 RN 21" Pentad Torpedo Tubes w. Round Shield

1/192 Scale Royal Navy 21" Pentad Torpedo Tubes with Round/Dome Spray Shield as used on the Aft Mount (Flat/Open on Front) x1 for various Destroyer Classes. This are highly accurate and incredibly detailed parts for many RN destroyers. These has been modelled using the Norman Ough plans and photographic reference. These are ideal for J Class,  K Class, N Class Destroyers and also Battle Class Destroyers. Note: Some vessels carried 2 Circular Spray Shields so please check your reference applicable to your build. • Highly detailed Tubes rivets, hex nuts etc (Torpedos not included, will be available as extra parts that can be inserted in place as desired)
• Tubes can be trained as required (set comes with base mount)
• Mechanical operating equipment for training, operator chairs and footplate non-slip pattern.
• Set contains parts for 1 Mount, set comes in 3 parts for ease of painting: the main tube assembly, the base mount with footplates and Spray Shield

Cleaning Information
Some part cleanup will be necessary. The 3D printing process uses a waxy substance to support certain part features during the printing process. Although the parts are cleaned by Shapeways, some waxy residue may remain.  It can be safely removed with water and a mild aqueous detergent like "Simple Green" using an old, soft toothbrush, Q-tips or pipe cleaners. During the printing process, liquid resin is cured by ultraviolet light. Microscopic bits of resin may remain uncured.

Let your parts sit in direct sunlight for a few hours to fully cure the resin.  
Water-based acrylic paints meant for plastics is strongly recommended. Other paints, especially enamels, may not cure on Frosted Detail 3D-printed plastics.
Use dedicated model sprue cutters to remove parts to minimise the risk of damage to parts.
