Product Description
Supplementary gauge panel for the Type 85 Audi B2, 1980 -1991. It allows you to install three gauges up at the same level as the other main gauges. Each gauge position is tilted towards the driver for better visibility. We also have designed a 2 gauge version that allows you to install spotlight switches etc in lieu of a third guage.
This replaces the dash centre vent. To install it, you will have to remove the centre vent and possibly trim back and/or seal the fresh air ducts behind.
You might need to lightly file the corners of the apperture as there is some variation on the dash mouldings by Audi.
It's designed to use 52mm VDO gauges, some other manufacturers gauges may fit, but not all all of them.
You can paint the panel with a Satin Black aerosol, I used "Simoniz Acryclic Satin Black", and the finish works out very nice, almost like OEM.
Depending on your centre console, this may also fit in the apperture normally used for installing the radio.
