Jacket Buckle - Spring side - Great for completing your Colonial Warrior jacket, Viper Pilots! (You'll need four of these, and four of the opposite side, as well.) The "white, strong and flexible" material would work great for the white 'ship of lights' version of the jacket. The polished white or yellow will require painting (Hit it with a nice coat or two of filler primer, lightly sand the easy to reach surfaces, and then spray with a metallic gold.) These will be held onto the garment by hand stitching through the little holes on the sides. (The original metal versions had pointy metal prongs than you'd poke through the fabric, then bend flat.) This side is designed with a flexure beneath the circular 'button' - it is a 'living spring' and will allow you to open and close the buckle (with the opposite side) exactly as you would with the original metal one. In fact, these versions work with the metal ones, as well.
