Contrabass Tuba Mouthpiece Rim- 1.28 Inch ID

This is a Contrabass Tuba mouthpiece Rim trainer used as a training and warm up device. Inside rim diameter is 1.28 inches. Developed with some of the brass instrument faculty at Central Washington University it is used, while looking in a mirror or working with your teacher or student, to visualize how the orientation and position of the lips effect the creation of the buzz needed to produce the tone for your instrument. This device also allows you to try different lip positions and techniques to maximize the quality of your tone and increase endurance.
