7mm/ft 1:43.5 scale buffer guides based upon the RCH designs of 1923 for use with unfitted wagons. Wagons working to Barry, Cardiff, and Penarth Docks were required to have these footsteps fitted to their buffer guides.
Twenty-four buffer guides are included; twelve with the raised nib used on end-door minerals.
The purchaser must provide their own buffer heads: Slaters Plastikard's ref 7156 is suitable.
