Product Description
BitWheel Pendant
The BitWheel pendant comes from a technical electronics design, and was originally meant as a rotary shaft angle encoder: with 8 light detectors on concentric circles, it can binary measure the angle the shaft is in, by detecting the holes.
Given its esthetic value.. it is now a pendant, mystically but exactly referring to all binary numbers from 0 to 255 for each angle.
For geeks and mystics alike, a very nice pendant to have!
probably best in stainless steel.
Note: when printing, you might get a mail from shapeways that there is still some polishing corn in the holes. You can easily get this out yourself, with a needle or some toothpicks... this model is at the edge of printability, but as you can see from the pictures, it comes out nicely!.
