Product Description
This model represents a generic Double Purchase Crab Winch (also known as a Hand Winch) based generally on the shape and dimensions for a model by American Hoist & Derrick. These winches were used on jetties, wharves, beaches and in small logging operations and could be found built into some types of small cranes and derricks. This model is non functional (although a functional model could be created if people request it - the gears could be made functional). This model is fitted with a wide and small diameter drum, standard for Manila Rope; drum dimensions are different for wire rope and chain; contact me if you want these variations modelled.
