This was inspired by a
piece of sculpture outside the Mashpee Public Library in Mashpee, MA. I've since learned that is the "eleventh stellation of the icosahedron" (as enumerated by Wenniger in "Polyhedron Models"). Normally this stellation consists of twenty identical hexahedra "joined" at vertices. In order to make it actually printable, I minkowski-added a small sphere to each solid, which joined them together.
